The Organization
The Florida Association of School Social Workers serves a statewide professional community from its Riverview base in Tampa Bay. Its website connects school social workers with membership information, professional resources, conferences and association news.

The Challenge
FASSW needed to modernize its public website and replace core membership administration workflows previously managed through WildApricot. The project required both a website redesign and custom business software behind it.
Moving to WordPress also meant carrying existing records forward. Contact identities, membership history and archived information needed to remain available to administrators rather than disappear during the move.

Custom WordPress Website Redesign
IMS developed the FASSW Shoreline theme with responsive desktop and mobile layouts. The redesign reorganizes membership resources, conference information and navigation around the association's audiences.
WordPress news publishing supports ongoing association updates. Public information and the Membership Portal now form parts of the same WordPress-based architecture, with separate public and administrative responsibilities.

Custom Association Management System Development
The FASSW Membership Portal is custom business software built around association administration. Its CRM capabilities connect contact management with membership levels, renewals, custom fields, permissions and administrative notes.
Role-based access separates administrative responsibilities. Reporting and searchable records support the day-to-day work of managing an association.
Contacts
A separate contact management system retains the people and historical records associated with FASSW. Administrators can search records, work with custom fields and maintain notes without treating every contact as a current member.
Members
Membership management organizes levels, statuses, renewal workflows and expiration dates. Keeping members separate from the broader contact collection preserves the distinction between membership administration and general contact history.

WildApricot Database Migration
IMS migrated 871 contacts, including 656 archived records. Original identifiers, membership history, statuses and expiration dates were preserved in the migration.
Historical financial and event information was retained for association administration, alongside the contact and membership history.

From WildApricot to a Custom Membership Portal
Innovative Marketing Solutions developed a custom WordPress membership administration platform to replace FASSW’s previous WildApricot management system. The new portal brings membership records, administrative tools, reporting, and historical information into a dedicated interface designed around the association’s operational needs.

Custom Administration Dashboard
The FASSW-branded administration interface brings 12 modules into a shared workspace. WildApricot-inspired navigation gives the custom management screens a familiar organizational structure.
The interface connects administrative tasks with reporting and a searchable Help Center. Administrators can find guidance within the system while working through contact, membership and event responsibilities.

Custom management screens group the association’s administrative functions within a FASSW-branded interface. Permissions and role-based access govern access to those functions.
Built-In Help Center
Searchable guidance sits alongside the administration tools, giving staff a reference for the workflows supported by the portal.

Event Management & Communications
Event administration includes registration workflows and waitlists. These tools connect event information with the administrative work required to manage participation.
Email templates, protected communications and administrative notifications support the association's follow-up tasks.

WooCommerce & Payment Integration
Integration installed. Live payment validation pending.
WooCommerce and the official GoDaddy Payments gateway have been installed and integrated into the development architecture.
Merchant verification, payouts and live transaction validation are still pending. Live payment processing has not yet been validated.
